Even though I was not close to Randall I knew of him and played with him a
few times in the DJ world. I am very sorry to hear of your loss.

My deepest condolences to you and all of Randall's family and friends. My name is Julie and I knew Randall for a long time, but it has been a very long time since I have seen him which I truly regret! We met in Phoenix in 1991 and I went to all of his clubs as you know they were "THE BEST" . I moved away to Alb. , NM in 1995 but would come back and visit and I would always be sure to visit Randall at the Atomic-- he would greet me with open arms and it was always GREAT to see him and I would dance all night to his great sets!! No one could compete with him!! He was a great friend to everyone-- I didn't know anyone that didn't love him!! I am very saddened by this loss and I wish I could have attended the services. My love to all of his family.................. sincerely, Julie -- Albuquerque NM.

I toured across the USA as well as played numerous shows on the west coast.
One of the places I ended up playing more then once was The Atomic-Cafe in
Az. - Out of around 100 venues I've played over the years, Atomic-Cafe was
one of my favorites. Randall was one of the very few dedicated and honest
people I've ever met in the scene. I spoke with him a few times at our
shows as well as corresponded with him via email now and then and I feel as
if the world has lost one hell of a cool guy. The afterlife however has
gained one hell of an even cooler spirit.

Beth & Ken,
There's nothing I can add at this point that no one else has already
said. There's nothing I could ever do to pay back all the great weekends
Randal has given me over the many many years. From the deepest part of
my soul, my heart goes out to you and the whole family including the
Atomic Cafe family for your lost of one of the best people I feel I am
honored to ever know. I will miss him always. He will always live in my

Just a note to tell you how upset I am about the news of Randall's
passing. I was a regular at Atomic and Asylum every week-end until he
closed shop here in Phoenix. I did get to visit him in Austin during
the SXSW festival last March, and am glad I did get a chance to see him
again. He was funny, charming and the BEST DJ on the planet.
I am very sorry for your loss, and for all those club goers out there
that'll never hear him spin.
